Dr. Kofford
Dr. Kofford is more than an orthodontist; he’s the guy next door, the one you watch the game with, the guy you grill burgers with in the backyard – a true neighbor and friend. And it’s this friendliness that sets him apart from others.“I’m not a white coat kind of guy. I don’t want that to put a barrier between my patients. I want our patients to feel like friends.” – Dr. Kofford.
Following dental school, Dr. Kofford continued his education with an Advanced General Dentistry residency. After completing his residency, Dr. Kofford served as the dentist for Fort Carson’s 10th Special Forces Group; this included a tour of duty in Iraq. And in 2010, he graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Orthodontic Program.
When Dr. Kofford isn’t helping his patients achieve their best smile, he enjoys – fishing, hiking, biking, and jet surfing with his family.
Dr. Andrea Font
Born and raised in Palma de Mallorca, off the coast of Spain, and moving through Madrid (Spain) and Munich (Germany) for her dental degree, Dr. Font ended up at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio for her Orthodontic and Masters degree.
Dr. Font has been Board Certified since 2014 and is a member of the prestigious Angle Society. Involved in all national and local associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Font is also a board member of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and is still serving as President of the Texas Association of Orthodontists. She is a clinical assistant professor at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and a visiting faculty at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Font, her boyfriend Ben, and their little dog, Cuzco, have recently named Colorado Springs their home. They just moved from Texas, where Dr. Font practiced for 9 years. Like many of us, Dr. Font likes outdoor activities and is involved in teaching and lecturing, but also values quiet time to do some reading, traveling, and cooking, or going to Taekwondo (where she just received her black belt)!
Dr. Jennifer Giltner
Dr. Giltner is a Board Certified Orthodontist serving Pueblo and the surrounding southern Colorado areas. She prides herself on providing the perfect mix of research-based treatment plans with special consideration for each individual patient she cares for. Her favorite part about being an orthodontist is that it allows her to form long lasting relationships while creating smiles that last a lifetime. She will make you comfortable if you are nervous and confident if you are not. “Come as a patient, leave as a friend.”
With both parents having proudly served in the military, Dr. Giltner has lived across the country and across the world. However, having grown up mostly in Colorado Springs, southern Colorado will always be her home. She attended CSU for her undergraduate degree (GO RAMS!) and then continued on to dental school at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL. Thereafter, she completed her residency at Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics in Greensburg, PA.
Dr. Giltner, her husband, their two dogs (Aksel and Heidi) and their growing family love spending as much time outdoors as possible. They live with a goal to ski as much as possible and hike at least one 14’er every year.
