A common misconception is that corrective treatment is for teenagers or children. In reality, more adults than ever are investing in better smiles. There are many reasons why older patients can benefit from orthodontic treatment, whether it be problems that have worsened with time or an accident that threw off the alignment of your teeth and jaw. The mouth naturally changes and shifts with time, and we are here to deliver beautiful results at every stage.

If you’ve always wanted straighter teeth and a better bite so you can achieve your dream smile but don’t want the look of metal, Invisalign treatment is the perfect option for you. These aligners are almost invisible and are easily removable, so you have ultimate freedom with maximum efficiency. This treatment is known to create smile transformations that leave you feeling more confident and ready to face the world.

How Will You Start My Treatment Plan?

We start every treatment plan with a comprehensive exam and an open dialogue about your orthodontic goals so that you can be aware of problem areas and we can understand what you would like your results to look like. After one of our knowledgeable doctors looks over your mouth, teeth, and jaw, we will take a 3D image that captures everything so we can see the bigger picture.

We will use this image to print your first set of aligners in-house and make sure they fit every groove of your teeth. We will then digitally adjust the image of your teeth and show you a projection of what the results will look like so you can add input and understand the goal. Once we’ve established where you’re starting and where you’d like to finish, our doctors can build a treatment plan that includes a series of adjusted aligners that will move your teeth closer and closer to the amazing smile you deserve.

How Long Will My Treatment Last?

We’ve inspired trust in our communities by providing quality care and honest techniques. This means that we are always going to work to give you the care you deserve without rushing results that won’t last. You are unique and have a unique set of issues that need addressing, so your timeline will vary a little bit from every other patient.

That being said, most patients wear Invisalign aligners for around one to two years before achieving their dream smile. As long as you consistently wear your aligners and maintain good dental hygiene, you can enjoy the results of Invisalign treatment quickly and efficiently. To figure out what treatment will consist of for your particular needs, come in for a complimentary consultation so we can guide you through the process.

Every treatment plan varies depending on the patient, and the cost varies with it. The longer you spend in Invisalign System and the more sets of aligners you need until you achieve your dream smile, the more the cost will rise.

While Invisalign aligners are a worthwhile investment into a better quality of life, we never want you to be intimidated by the cost of treatment and shy away from seeking the help you need. This is why we work hard to make Invisalign treatment affordable by working with your insurance provider and offering flexible financing plans. During your first complimentary consultation, we will discuss finances with you and figure out a plan that works with your budget.

How Do I Sanitize Invisalign Aligners?

Keeping your aligners clean is simple and just adds one more step to your daily hygiene routine. Every time you remove your aligners to floss and brush your teeth, use your toothbrush and warm water to clean the inside and outside of your Invisalign aligners. This will help eliminate harmful bacteria so that no food particles or acid sit on your freshly cleaned teeth. Maintaining good oral health is crucial to protect your treatment progress, so make sure you keep both your aligners and your mouth clean.

Is Invisalign Treatment Uncomfortable?

Invisalign treatment is often praised as the most comfortable corrective treatment available. These aligners were created with patient comfort in mind, and they have several qualities that make them a pleasure to wear. The first step is the 3D image we use to create the aligners. By making sure they fit perfectly over your teeth, there is no uncomfortable rubbing against your gums to irritate your mouth.

Once we have the image, we print the aligners in a thermoplastic that has been made with your comfort in mind. It is a soft but durable material that will stand the test of time while helping eliminate some of the discomfort people experience while getting used to a metal appliance. If there is any slight pain felt throughout treatment, this is most likely due to the shifting of teeth from their set positions. This can be cured with any over-the-counter pain medicine.

We’d love the opportunity to help take care of your smile!
