"SoCO Smiles has treated me wonderfully. From the first consult to getting my braces off, along with the aftercare plans; I feel I am at the best place for me! As an adult with a genetic issue affecting my teeth, it was difficult to wrap my head around braces as an option for treatment. Dr. Kofford has been amazing in making me feel comfortable with the process and all of the nuances that come up with my illness. The staff is courteous and professional. "Both of my kids have gone through braces with Dr. Kofford. Both had lots of issues especially my son! He did NOT wear his retainer and his teeth have shifted! So now we are going to do invisaliners on top and clear braces on the bottom. My son was so unhappy about having to do braces again! Dr. Kofford was so great with him and made him feel better about having to put braces back on, he even suggested the clear brackets.If your child needs braces I would highly recommend SOCO orthodontics and Dr. Kofford!"

"Really awesome orthodontist office. I used Comfort Dental for my niece and they charged extra for the retainers and little things here and there. With Dr. Kofford, the price they quote you is the price you pay. They work with you on payments and make everything easy and comfortable. I will be using them again for my kids that want braces."

Dr. Kofford has made time to squeeze me in to take care of improving my comfort with my braces and to take care of normal wear and tear of devices. He is the kindest caregiver. "My dentist and several friends in the area recommended SoCo Smiles (previously known as Apple Orthodontics). We moved to area in the middle of my daughter's orthodontic treatment and needed to continue her orthodontic plan. Dr. Kofford was able to pick up where a previous orthodontist left off. My daughter just got her braces off last week and we couldn't be happier with the results. Both Dr. Kofford and Dr. Korchynskyy were determined to make her smile perfect - and they did. The office is clean, staff is friendly, and making/changing appointments is easy. I have two more kids to put through braces and will be choosing SoCo Smiles for their treatments as well."

As Grandma, I furnish transportation to/from each visit and am so glad for the convenience of a Canon City office. "Dr. Kofford and his staff are outstanding!! From the day I went in for a consult, to thw day I got my braces off, I was always impressed. They always educated me in every step of treatment, and always answered my questions. His assistants are all very knowledgeable and kind, aswell as his front desk. They offer reasonable appointments and always got me in quickly after a few bad decisions and a few broken brackets (because lets be honest, brackets dont JUST keep breaking). "I love this orthodontist. Dr. Kofford was my orthodontist and was amazing. I had to have jaw surgery and he handled my braces and surgery with care and professionalism. I’ve brought all three of my kids in for braces and they love him as well. He lets you know everything needed and keeps you informed every step of the way. "Impressive place! The front staff is very friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. They use high advanced technology for x-rays and mouth guards. The high advanced machinery makes taking x-rays much quicker, easier, and painless. Dr. Kofford is very kind and knowledgeable and makes going to the dentist easy! I highly recommend this practice."

"My father taught orthodontics at UCLA for 35 years so I am very select when I look for a dentist of any kind, and these are the best around. My dad even gave me a definite thumbs up on the work we had done at Apple Orthodontix. We LOVE Apple Orthodontix in Colorado Springs! Both dentists are really good but we mostly interacted with Dr. Kofford. He was wonderful! Since going here, my son is now determined to be an orthodontist when he grows up. Both doctors are very knowledgable and experienced. They went the extra mile and we loved them for it. We have now moved out of state but we will definitely go back to them if we return to the area. We would refer anyone we know to them without reservation. The staff is super nice and the facilities are beautiful. Very bright and always clean. My kids just loved them and they also loved that the office is next door to an ice cream store."

"I received a referral to Apple Orthodontix from from my dentist when I expressed interest in getting adult braces. I had braces as a child, but due to time and lack or proper retainer wear, I felt I could improve my smile and dental health with another orthodontic treatment.Dr. Taloumis and Dr. Kofford were both great to work with. What really impressed me also was how friendly and knowledgeable their staff is. From the receptionist to orthodontic assistants, they have a really good team supporting them. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Children there always seem at ease, which is paramount for a medical office. When my two young ones are old enough for braces I will definitely be bringing them here if necessary.All in all, I have completed my treatment and I could not be more thrilled with my new smile! It is easier to take care of my teeth and from a cosmetic standpoint it looks even better than I had hoped."
"I had a dental emergency back in December when my front teeth were knocked in after taking an elbow to the face while playing soccer on a Sunday evening. I was referred to Dr. Kofford who was generous enough to open his shop at 9pm that night and was able to save me much time, pain, and the potential for further surgeries. The folks at Apple Orthodontix are by far the kindest, friendliest staff I have ever dealt with and I cannot thank them enough. I just got the braces off and my teeth look even better than they did before my accident. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!!"
